Same prompt, three models. Grok kept the likeness and committed to the cartoon.
03Dalai Hills, chai and sunset
First character sheets, two frames, one Kling clip. Looked AI, no save-the-date in it. Dropped the idea.
04Kitchen v1
Seedance 2.0. Motion was good. Krishna did not look like Krishna.
05Getting Krishna's face right
Rebuilt from photos. Face improved, body went wrong twice. Real photos straight into video held the likeness best.
06Sketches
Painterly first, then pushed toward Pixar. Still not Pixar enough.
07Frames and end card
GPT Image looked like ChatGPT. Ideogram made them kids. Grok it is.
08Style reset
Three reference images from Ishan. These portraits are now the approved Krishna and Niket.
09The world
Their kitchen and the hill town, in the same style.
10The script
15 seconds, three 5 second runs.
0 to 5s One momo in the steamer is glowing. Krishna pleats and sways, Niket copies her a beat late. Both lean in over the glow.
5 to 10s He lifts it out, blows on it, feeds it to her. Eyes close. The steam rises as a ribbon and starts to curl.
10 to 15s The steam writes their names, the date, the venue. Forehead touch. She steals the last bite. Hold. Black.
